CAMP 3500 WIZARD Pro (Descender)

The Wizard Pro is a lightweight, compact auto-braking descender for rope access and rescue. It features a button that allows the cam to be held open for easier insertion of the rope and to remain connected to the user while it is open or while the rope is being inserted or removed. Designed for expert users; the lever does not have the anti-panic function. The lever automatically returns to the LOCK position when released.

The Wizard Pro delivers extraordinary controllability with its proven internal mechanism and the rigid lever that is made of robust hot-forged aluminium alloy. The locking cam uses an innovative design for smooth action on the rope which prevents rapid wear-and-tear and absorbs energy from small shocks with a slight amount of rope slippage.

The cam can be deactivated with a trigger to allow quick sliding of the rope in situations with no load or limited load. Equipped with NFC TRACK tag for digital identification.

Standards:

• EN 12841/C as a descender for semi-static ropes from 10.5 to 11 mm and for workers up to 150 kg; can also be used for rope access rescue up to 200 kg.
• EN 341/2A as an emergency evacuation device on a single line for workers up to 120 kg, 11 mm semi-static rope (Iridium 11 mm).
• EN 15151-1 for climbing structures using mountaineering techniques with dynamic ropes ranging from 8.9 to 11 mm.
